These photos show examples of various customizations we have created in our fireplace tools, stands, and wall racks.
The first two pictures are of an extra long poker, fabricated in the twisted square bar design. Because the poke was 40 inches long, our shop thought it looked too plain and so added an extra twist to the shaft of the poker. The customer also wanted an extra long tine on the poker so that it would work well in the fire pit.
We have made pokers as long as 5 feet.
The concept for the fireplace wall racks that have turned hooks came about because so many customers have narrow wall space in which their fireplace tools might hang. This photo shows a 3 hook wall rack designed for the twisted square bar fireplace tools. This photo may be seen larger at Basic Fireplace Tools with a Twist.
This photo is of the tree bark fireplace tool stand, fabricated
to accommodate
5 tools - poker, tongs, broom, shovel, and fork. The
photo below is a close-up of the hooks on this stand.
