Here, you can
see how two of our wrought iron fireplace tools, the poker and the fork work
together to create the tongs mentioned above. Shown, are the tools from a
twisted fireplace tool set. We also create, by hand, wonderful fireplace
tongs that are very popular with our customers.
This photos shows the hand woven brooms that we use in many of our fireplace tool sets. At times, the broom styles may vary, depending on their availability.
They are hand made by Warren Olney of The Broom Shop in Grants Pass, Oregon. A link to his site can be found in our links pages. We ship the handles to him and he weaves the brooms onto the handles so well that they never loosen. Mr. Olney, like us, takes great pride in his craftsmanship.
Our fireplace tool sets may be purchased in high temperature black paint or old fashioned oil finish.
All of our fireplace tools sets, come with an oval formed at the base of the fork. The poker is inserted through this hole to form a set of tongs. Thus, our sets of 4 fireplace tools actually function like a 5 tool set.

Our tongs have a 3.5" inner diameter and a 4.5" outer diameter and open to hold
large logs.
twisted tongs These tongs are wholly hand wrought
from solid steel square bar stock and even the heavy duty rivet
that allows
the tongs to move, is hand-made.
The circular area of the fireplace tongs has an approximate six inch diameter,
but opens up to grab large logs.
