Florentine Handrail design

The staircase itself, the steps are usually built by your contractor.  The  handrail is then fabricated by Wrought Iron Solutions.

Please note:  The staircase railing shown here was fabricated with the old 6 inch ball rule.  New staircases must not adhere to the new 4 inch ball rule which means that the scrolls will be a bit tighter.  This means that we can no longer make this exact design.  However, the Laurel handrail design takes the place of this one.

This elegant staircase is located in Appleton, Wisconsin and was showcased in the Valley Home Builders Association Parade of Homes in the fall of 2004.  Of course these are all custom wrought iron railings.

The staircase was built in accordance with the 6 inch ball rule.  Most places now require the 4 inch ball rule which means that a 4 inch ball cannot pass through any opening in the decorative field.  The Laurel Handrail design is similar to this, but is fabricated with the 4 inch ball rule.

We can create a staircase similar to this but the spirals will be a bit tighter because of the 4" rule.
