The Laurel Wrought Iron Staircase

The close-up photo of the Laurel handrail shows it under construction and without the wood cap rail.  The second photo shows the staircase with the wood cap rail installed.  This handrail is similar in design to our Florentine handrail but while the Florentine was fabricated with the 6 inch ball rule, this railing was created to conform to the 4 inch ball rule, thus complying with current building codes that have become prevalent in most cities.
